The first day of classes was really rough for me, I went to my first class, got a copy of my schedule, and realized my classes were held in different buildings. No problem, I will have time in-between classes to figure it out, I thought wrong. My classes are back to back, there was barely enough time to go to the bathroom. I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to find the buildings where I needed to go for my next class. I was late to three of my four classes, not a good first impression to make on the first day of class. Also, to make matters worse, I was thirty minutes late to lunch because classes end at 2:30 not 2pm like we were told.
When the day was over I was so exhusted from running around that I took a much needed hour and a half siesta.
To celebrate the start of classes I went out with some friends to have some "copas". Everything I heard about the wine was true, I am some-what of a wine connoisseur and never have I tasted such excellent wine. One thing that I forgot however, is that it is always cheaper to order at the bar and to go further away from Plaza Mayor. It was nice to go and relax after such a stressfull day, and also to find that other people´s day was not easy as well. The Spainards stay out kind of late so there were a lot of places to go if we got bored in one spot.
