El Tercer Blog de la Segunda Semana

Yesterday,I, along with a few other students from the University of Salamanca, went to a park to play soccer. While playing, I realized that I did not get as tired as I would have if I played in Chicago. The reason for this is, of course, the lack of humidity in this city. Although it is getting hot in Salamanca, a person can really feel the difference between the heat here and in Chicago. As for me, here I tend not to sweat as much as I sweat in Chicago. I feel that, although the temperatures may get very high, a person could still go outside have fun. As forthose who do not like hot weather, I have seen many parks in Salamanca surrounded by trees. Anybody could just keep cool under the shades of those trees without having to face the hot weather he or she might not like.

Today in class the teachers decided to take it easy on the students. We just played games and had much fun. However, the games we played were games that helped us increase our volcabulary skills. For example, the first game we played was hangman. I believe that playing that game was a good idea because the students get to learn volcabulary words without gettingbored. As for me, I learned many words and phrases from the game. I believe that playing this game is one of the best ways to increase your vocabulary skills in spanish.

Hoy para el almuerzo mí señora me preparó una tortilla muy rica. La tortilla no tenia carne. Ella me dijo que la tortilla era de vegetal.La tortilla que me preparó era tortilla Española. Después del almuerzo, la señora me preparó un postre. La gente aquí come mejor que la gente en los Estados Unidos. Me gusta mucho la comida de España.
