BIANCA #1

I must say that the first day in Spain was kind of awkward. My Spanish was very dusty, and she didn´t speak english at all. At first, I was a little disapointed because I really wanted to embrace her in conversation, but it seemed as if I couldn´t find any of the right words to say. And I for sure couldn´t understand anything she was saying. Then later I learned that I just had Jet-lag and that nothing was functioning right in my head. Im glad that was only for one day. Now we talk all the time.

The home Im staying in looks great. It´s unsurprisingly small, but surprisingly modern. It´s very clean and smells good all the time. I guess that it helps that my host mom works as a perfume clerk. As a gift she gave me a bunch of perfume samples with Dolce Gabbana being my favorite. In return a gave her a bunch of souviners from Chicago. She loved them and in fact, uses one of the gifts everyday in the morning.
