The only bad thing was that this suitcase left little flecks of burgandy all over my skin, but luckily marta had the wet ones! what would we do without wet ones? On the 2 hour bus ride to madrid I am pretty sure we were all out cold, well everyone except paloma who informed us that she had taken very attractive photos of each of us sleeping on the bus. Oh well, it was a nice nap and made the bus ride seem to take 2 minutes instead of hours. By the time we were at the airport waiting in a gigantic line I was actually a little excited to be going home, not because I wanted to leave spain but because I just wanted to be out of that crowded airport. But we made it through the check and I got a nice carton of lucky strikes at the duty free shop only 19$! We got on the plane and settled ourselves in for the flight ahead.

Most people slept at least a couple hours on the flight. For some reason I really like airplane food, I know it's not like amazing or anything, I just really like it and this food was really good. The flight went by pretty quickly and before we knew it we were rechecking our bags in philidelphia. We had just enough time for a bite to eat (haha my bite to eat was a bacon cheeseburger) and then we were on the smaller, but oddly enough more comfortable, plane back to chicago. By the time we got to o'hare it had been the longest i had ever gone over the last month without a cigarette so I was feeling and probably looking a bit out of it. I went outside and when i came back in our luggage was finally coming out and I got to meet everyones significant others and it was really nice to see people reuniting and hugging. I was happy to be home even though I didnt really want to be, if that makes sense...
