My trip was complete. It was excellent till the last day. Although I was ready to go home, I knew I would miss much of Salamanca. The rest of my week went so smoothly since the worst of school was over. The only difference was that now I knew had so little time left. But I quickly made use of that time and began seeking out places in the city that I would enjoy. In the morning I made a point of having a real breakfast in a café. After that I was determined to find out how Salamancans Rock and Roll. Throughout the month I had grown weary of how the clubs and bars catered to the Americans with Pop music. I wanted to find a place that provided live and unique Spanish music.

I was successful in finding two Rock and Roll joints. But to my dismay neither of them held live bands in the summer. They explained the reason was because the tourists only like club music. Although, I was disappointed I enjoyed the atmosphere and was happy to be in a place that welcomed my taste. On our last night after we left the Rock bars we made sure we returned once more to the Bird land Jazz Café. It was probably my single favorite place in all of Spain and the gentlemen there had grown very fond of us. We all gathered for photos behind the bar as we enjoyed the last few hours we would spend in our beloved Espana.
