Yesterday Alison and I went to the train station to buy tickets to go to Madrid. I noticed that Alison's Spanish is improving vastly. When we went up to the counter she knew what she wanted to say and how to say it. I envy her courageousness's, unlike me she did not need a piece of paper to practice of of. Seeing this fearlessness in her makes me want to try to practice my Spanish more without being timid. When it comes to listening and writing I am very comfortable, if only I could get rid of my shyness. From now on I will look to Alison's fearlessness and try not be so afraid.
Before we left for Spain we had discussed the issue of water and showering. The first week at my family's house there was nothing said about water. Regardless, I always try to take no more than 10 minutes while showering. On Monday my host mother introduced a whole new concept of showering to my house mate and I. She very politely asked that when we are lathering up of we could turn off the water. The first time I tried it her way I was freezing in between rinses! Nevertheless, it has been about two days and I have gotten used to it.
Hoy, yo voy a comprar algos zapatos.
