¡caca!...¡huete!

Yesterday for lunch we had this really weird soup. I really had a hard time finishing it but I did anyways. I think it was chicken broth mixed with lard. Im not kidding, I saw the lard sitting on the counter. Man though, I was really proud of myself when I was finshed though. I like to always try new foods and this will definately be something interesting to add to my list. I´m pretty hard-core though so I can handle it. Also yesterday I got to climb up to the top of the cathedral here in Salamanca in our culture class. It was an absolutely amazing view. We were in class so I didnt get to stay up there as long as I would have liked to but Im going to go back sometime next week when on a day when its not so hot. I recommend everyone goes up there.

Last night I went slasa dancing with a bunch of people. Well, actually I didnt really do much"salsa" dancing. It was more this dance I made up that kind of went along with the music. It was quite the time though. I liked the place it was at because it wasnt too crowded like most of the other clubs here at night. I hate going into a place that turns out to be full of teenie boppers. Anyways, it was a lot of fun and I´d like to go again sometime maybe next week. Salamanca is a wonderful place to live if you are always looking for something to do. I feel like for me, it would be impossible to become bored here. people are never at home unless it is for meals or to sleep. The streets are always full, as are the outdoor cafes. i love to see all the differnt people and hear all of the different languages. It is really very beautiful.
