My roommates then told me that they are moving out tomorrow, but they haven't told my host mom yet. When I returned for lunch I found I had two guests. My host mom's other son was visiting on vacation with his wife. He was very nice but didn't speak as much English as Luis. Apparently, he works as a Coast Guard in Valencia and he showed me pictures of his boat. Angel had the build and the same look of a cop. He had short hair and was stocky and muscular. The major difference is that he had a more timid personality than the cops I know in Chicago.

After lunch I went to an optometrist because my contact had ripped in the morning. This made school tough throughout the day but after seeing the optometrist I felt like a million bucks. I was relieved to know I could read my Spanish book without getting dizzy. I soon arrived at Bird land Café and found the music to be particularly interesting. They played a lot of Frank Zappa and a modern rendition of classical orchestra music. Although, I found this to be enjoyable, I studied for so long that I heard the same songs played three times in a row. When I returned home it was two-thirty in the morning.
