Mylie's

Sunday i arrived at the flea market at 10:00 am. I went by myself by catching the number 4 bus near my house. I took the number 8 bus that went straight to the flea market when I got to Gran Via street. At first I thought i was going to have to walk far from the bus stop, but the bus driver pointed to where i needed to go and i went. Some of the sellers there had already placed their items up on the tables to be sold while others were just arriving to the market. I walked up and down each row to see what i wanted to buy. It was hard tryin not to buy too much stuff.
I meet a lot of people that were visiting Spain from Africa. They tried their best to speak english to me but I told them to speak what ever made them happy. They also said they need to learn more languages as business people to network with the world. I find that interesting since i'm trying to learn as many languages as possible to communicate with the world but not for money reasons. They items they sold there was nice and some was not worth buying at the price they were selling it for. I bought me some french fries for 1 Euro. I saw a couple of classmates from Chicago there also.

I was so happy to hear that one of them was moving very soon to attend school out of state. I pray that she and her family will be blessed by God's wisdom and direction for their lives. I waited on the bus for about a 20mins but it was a long line just for the bus. I have never seen that before, an actual line for the bus. Normally it's who ever can get thru the door the fastest is the one that gets a chance to get on bus but not having to stand in line. Any who, this old man helped me out when it was my turn to get on the bus since I had walked to sit near the little old ladies. He made more noise then I would about not cutting anyone that was in line waiting for the bus. He protected me lol which was funny cuz he kind of short but he didn't take no mess. The other riders respected him by backing up and letting me and the elder ladies on the bus.

I got home and I was tired from all that walking but I was ready to eat lunch then take a siesta before I left for church. Tamara had made alot of food and it was "fy" (means good).
I had so pop with it but the brand i bought was nasty and i knew i should not have bought the cheap and generic brand. I washed my face and went to bed. I woke up about 2 hours later which is too long for a nap in Spain. I watched tv for 1 hour and nodded off and went back to room to lay down for a few. I over slept and was almost late for church. I was meeting my friend Brittany from Texas Univ. there. This day was a blessed day because the bus came 2 mins after i arrived at the bus stop. I got to church at 7:55p.m and I thought i was late but they told me that in the summer it doesn't start until 8pm and I was happy. Brit had brought her roommate and they had arrived 30 mins before I did. Service was great and I understood it alot better this week because I Looked up alot of the words they had on the overhead projector. The pastor was not there that day so the co-pastor preached the message. We took some pictures and I let them know that that was my last week there and they said they would be praying for everyone to have a safe trip.
I walked to the bus stop and down the street somebody was have a huge block party. I went to see what it was about and all i saw was foam and bubbles flying everywhere with a lot of kids playing in it. It was ok until some of the teenagers were cutting up and trying to pull down some of the girls pants. Not too many adults were around but the kids did look like they all were having fun. My batteries had ran out so I went to the store by the foam machine and bought some becuz it was dark and i couldn't see. That's one thing i noticed is that it gets dark quick there, I guess because they don't turn on the street lights like we do in Chicago. I headed home on the bus and enjoyed the nice walk I had while protected myself from any and all fools that were out there.
