Por Supuesto

This week I got to go see Harry Potter since the new movie just came out. I was so excited that it came out at the same time here in spain. The theatre was packed and when the music came on at the beginning I got little butterflies in my stomach. It was pretty good but kind of difficult to understand since it was in spanish. Usually when people are talking to me I can always figure out what they´r saying but since this movie was dubbed in spanish I couldnt read anyone´s lips and that made it much harder, but Iv read the book so it was all good. Sometimes I watch with my host lady thats what they call the show it´s the same thing, much harder to unsterstand dubbed over but when I watch the news I understand a lot more.

One of my favorite things to do here in salamanca besides sitting in a cafe is to sit in the park with bread cheese and wine and study or people watch. It makes me feel really happy to be part of such a beautiful community. The other day when we were sitting in the grass the sprinkelers came on and we had to bolt, we got pretty wet but I made sure the first thing i rescued as we were getting out was the pate spread. I am always hungry here in salamanca, everybody talks about how they´r so full after the big lunch but I seem to never be full. I love food and this place is like a gold mine for my taste buds because I am not really into spicy things, what i really love is carbs, cheese, ice cream and coffee. yo+salamanca=perfecto

en lunes hablé con mi amigo/novio. y despues, estuve un poco triste. Pero está bien. No quiero regresar a chicago pero les extraño un poco mis amigos y el sentimiento que estoy en lugar donde siento comfortable conmigo. Me encanta viajar pero cada vez despues de dos semanas mas o menos siento un poco triste. pero estoy bien ahora y no puedo creer que solo tenemos dos mas semanas. ¡Es muy rapidito! no quiero volver y tengo un poco miedo que no voy a poder practicar mi español mucho en chicago.
