Entonces, vamos a Avila.
I am a little upset that the they dont teach us some of the grammer used here in Spain at our schools at home. For example, the vosotros form. I don´t understand why they didnt just teach us that from the beginning! It is so much harder to learn that kind of stuff now when they could have just added it on from the beginning and we woukld already have it memorized. Also, the past participle tense that we never learned. They only use it in Spain but I dont see that as a reason not to teach it to us, spain is where spanish comes from!
I think it is interesting how the people here love their meat. We always have meat at lunch and usually at dinner too. It is usually fish, pork or chicken. I know that people in the u.s. like meat too but it is more like hamburgers, steak, fried chicken or sandwhiches. Here, the people create these beautiful dishes around the meat portion of their meal. For example, today at lunch we had asperagus and cheese wrapped in ham and cooked in a flour batter. it was so delicious and another day we had empenadas with ham and cheese and some with tuna. so delicious. When I get home I am going to try not eat out as much and try making more meals from scratch, it makes them taste better.
