cuando salimos la cidrería fuimos a buscar un restaurante. fue las diez y todos estuveron completos, haha, como los hoteles. pero encontramos un y nos dijo que pudimos esperar. entonces esperamos un hora con sangria de cidra. tuvimos mucho mucho hambre y ella preguntó al camerero si pudimos comer al bar. ella es fantastico y todos los camereros les gusta much y nuestro camerero dijo si, podeís sentar y comer al bar.
Everything on the menu looked amazing even though we didnt know what most of it was, but anything would have been good probably since we were so hungry. so, we asked the waiter to bring us his favorites which ended up being some sort of seafood spread with mini toasts, salted fried peppers, crab, and an amazing meat tray. it was a ton of food but it was absolutely fantastic. Im feeling really hungry right now just thinking about the deliciosness. eventually a table opened up and we moved ourselves over and began an intense game of yahtzee while we were slowing trying to finish as much of the food as possible.
Ella went inside to go chat with her waiter friend and the three of us made friends with carlos and miguel who were in gijón for the weekend visiting their families. They grew up in gijón and when we explained our situation, they told us they would show us where is good to go if we want to stay up all night. they said it wouldnt be a problem because in gijón on the weekends the people stay out until 9 in the morning! we didnt believe it, but there were sure right. we stayed at the lovely restaurant until they closed then we headed to another place where we also stayed until they closed. This place was nice and we had good conversation with carlos and miguel about culture and they gave us some good advice, that a smile and a gracias go a long way here, this is probably true anywhere you go but its always nice to keep in mind. then we felt like dancing! so it was off to our discotecha experience for the night.
