Our first night in Madrid we decided to put our stuff down and walk around Madrid. As we approached this one street I noticed the the women were dressed very provocatively. I couldn't help wonder why there were groups of women dressed this way just standing around. I finally asked Allison if those women were prostitutes, I just didn't want to assume anything. Allison said look around, those are prostitutes. As I looked around I saw that there were also a ton of "adult shops". I have never seen anything like that in my life. I thought that prostitutes who actually stood on corners was something to be seen only in movies.
The second day in Madrid we went to the Reina Sofia museum. Allison and Jerry said that we would probably be in the museum for four hours. I thought to myself "it's a museum it can't possibly take four hours to see the whole thing". When we arrived at the museum I saw how big it was, probably four floors, I thought this is why we would be there so long. As we were looking around we stopped and just starred at the amazing pieces of art on display. They had Picasso who's work was amazing, and they had my favorite, Salvador Dali, who´s work is so off the wall. By the time we were done we had spent six hours in the museum, it was beautiful.
