I didn´t write abou this before because it´s a bit embaressing, but now I think it´s kind of funny. When I first got here I really wanted to take a shower because we had been traveling for like two days. So went in the bathroom and I tried to turn on the shower but I honestly could not figure out how. There was nothing to pull or switch it on anywhere! Anyways, I was kind of embaressed and my host lady had already showed me how to work it but I was super tired after the flight when she tried to show me so I didn´t want to go back out and ask her again so I just didn´t take a shower that day. I tried to figure it out more times but I failed and eventually I lost hope and asked my host lady. By this point it had been four days. Gross. My host lady was kind of grossed out I think, but she thinks Im funny so it doesnt really matter. Sorry about that. It seems like everytime I use a bathroom here in Spain it is like a scavenger hunt to try and find the flusher. Sometimes its on top, sometimes on the wall, sometimes on the cieling, sometimes you push and sometimes you pull. It´s bizar.
My classes are going well. I really like that are teachers are able to get through so much with us in so little time. In my grammar class we have already gone through like 4 tenses and its only been a week and a half. I feel pretty confidant about them too. In chicago it usually takes a week or two for each new tense. I don´t think it is the teacher´s fault it´s just that here, everyone in the class is at the same level more or less, the classes are smaller, and the teacher NEVER speaks in english. If we don´t understand something he/she says in spanish they will explain it to us using other spanish words. I have been using my dictionary more than ever here too and I´m getting better and better at understanding everything people say to me even if I don´t understand all the words they are using. It is so much fun.

I showed Carolin how to use the shower right away because of reading this entry.
I'm having a difficult time posting this comment, since it's all in Spanish..... "Campo obligatorio; no debe dejarse en blanco" ???
